Wendy Sullivan began designing her exquisite gowns under the Airs and Graces label back in 1983. This was the launch pad for her signature style, featuring eclectic hand dyed laces pieced together to create “one only”  evening gowns.This very feminine look naturally flowed into bridal design, creating her true passion for bridal wear which has seen Wendy become one of the states most loved designers under the Brides Desire label.

The relaxed Queensland lifestyle and opportunity to grow her business kept this Melbourne born designer in Brisbane’s West End where her flagship store show cases gowns from size 6-24, with Brides Desire also available in selected stockists throughout Australia and the UK.

After 36 years in the business, Wendy is delighted to share her passion of design with a new generation of Sullivan designs with her son Jack launching his own bridal label a few years ago. As well as taking great delighting watching Jack embrace all aspects of the business whilst watching his label grow in popularity and demand, Wendy continues to devote all her time to design and travel, focusing purely on the excellence and signature styling of her collections.
